What is an AI key?

It is like a prepaid card for an AI service. You create one in a few minutes on the provider's website (we recommend OpenRouter), and paste it into the app. The app then asks the AI to write, draw and speak for you, and the provider charges you only for what you use. The app shows you where to click the first time. The steps on the provider's website can change.

Four steps. You can change anything.

  1. Give it a topic or scriptType a topic, or paste a finished script. Your own words stay exactly as you wrote them.
  2. Review the scenesThe app writes a storyboard: a scene for each part, with its narration. Read it and change anything before a single picture or voice is made.
  3. Pictures and voiceThe app makes the pictures. Pick one of 21 AI voices and listen to it first, or use your own recording.
  4. RenderA built-in check looks at every scene for cut-off text and fixes what it can. Then the MP4 renders on your PC, with captions. Save it, or open the folder.

Pictory Starter covers up to 30 minutes a month ($25 a month billed yearly, or $29 monthly). VidSupreme: 360 minutes at $0.16 to $0.33 a minute is $58 to $119 of AI for the whole year, plus the $27 app once.

Minute caps: every plan above stops at its monthly minutes (30, 90, 300 and about 60). When you reach the cap you wait for next month or move up a plan. VidSupreme has no cap on minutes or videos: you pay your own AI provider for each minute you make. Because that cost grows with the minutes, the gap is widest at lower volumes. Pictory and Synthesia prices read from pictory.ai/pricing and synthesia.io/pricing on 30 October 2026. The two tools make different kinds of video, and your own AI usage depends on the models you pick. These figures are not a promise of savings.

A fair comparison depends on what you need. An editor suits work that needs a human eye on every frame. Online tools suit people who prefer not to install anything. VidSupreme suits people who make explainers often and want to own the tool.

Questions

I am not technical. Can I still use it?
Yes. You install it like any program, sign in with Google and paste one key. The app guides you the first time, and you can write to [email protected] if you get stuck: the maker answers you directly, one to one.
What happens if my AI credit runs out?
The app cannot ask the AI for more until you add credit with your provider. Nothing you already made is lost, and rendering a video you have finished does not use any credit. Free models are available with a free key.
Do I need an AI account?
The app uses an AI provider for the script, pictures and voice. You bring your own key (OpenRouter works, and it has free models). The provider bills you directly, usually about 16 to 33 cents per minute of video. VidSupreme does not add a fee on top.
Does it run on my computer?
Yes. It is a Windows app (Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit). Videos render on your PC, so long videos take longer on slower machines. Projects and media stay on your computer.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. The price on this page is one payment for the base app.
Why does Windows warn about an unknown publisher?
The installer is not code-signed yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. The app updates itself afterwards.
How many computers can I use?
Your licence works on two of your computers.
Are there extras I have to buy?
No. The app is complete as it is. After checkout you may be shown optional upgrades, each with a "No thanks" choice, and you can skip all of them.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of buying. Ask through the marketplace you bought from.
Which videos can I make with it?
Explainers for products, history, how-tos, courses, local businesses and client work, in many languages. Check the terms for the details of use.
